This is where it all begins. Students will learn the ins and outs of their instruments and understand what goes into making your instrument an extension of your mind and body, not just a tool. Students will learn chords and chord shapes, scales, theory, and develop an understanding of harmony and melody. Students will also learn the importance of rhythm, dynamics, and what the many purposes of their chosen instruments are and can be.

A great way to experiment with what students have learned and a fantastic way to connect with others. With an emphasis on improvisation and imagination, these Group Jams will help students to learn how to express themselves on whatever instrument(s) they choose to play in a group setting and is an important lesson in listening and collaborating.

This is where the “look what I can do” value really comes into play. These Performance Showcases provide the opportunity to show family and friends what the students have been working on in Private Lessons and Group Jams. From solo performances to full bands, students will choose what songs they want to play and how to play them.
My philosophy is simple: learning how to play music is the greatest gift that a person can give themself, especially early on in life.

PricingPricing is based off of the duration of lesson times– 30 minutes or 60 minutes. Payments can be made at the beginning of the semester for a slightly reduced rate, or in monthly installments throughout the semester.
Base rate for lessons are $48 for half hour, $80 for full hour.
